I will have the pleasure of going to see Anne’s Exhibition tomorrow at Cromwell Place. For me personally this painting evokes menories of my childhood, sailing home to Belfast across a very tempermental yet beautiful Irish sea. My Father hanging on to me as I climbed up to look over the railing at the sea in all her beauty. For me paintings and pictures and words when they touch something deep in your core, it becames a personal and wonderful experience. This is what this painting does for me. I am anordinary person, living an ordinary life, no art expert, no connoisseur of the arts, I just know what I like, and I like Anne Magill work.
